Try the new catalogue

With your help, we have been developing and testing the catalogue for the past two years. We have analysed your feedback and improved it along the way so that searching the collection will be easier and more enjoyable.

The new catalogue is a powerful single search tool to discover material from the Library’s collections.

Your existing catalogue log in will continue to work in the new catalogue.

You will still be able to access the old catalogue.

Sometimes your search may take you back to the old catalogue. We appreciate your patience while we complete the task of updating links.

From 1 January 2019, changes to the copyright duration provisions of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) come into effect. These changes mainly affect unpublished collection material relating to literary, artistic, dramatic, and musical works. We are currently in the process of updating the Library’s catalogue to reflect these changes. You are advised that existing rights statements in some catalogue records may not reflect the recent amendments to the Act. Please ensure that you are satisfied that your proposed usage of these collections is in accordance with the new amendments to the Copyright Act. For further information please consult how long does copyright last.
