In the 2,074 days and nights between 3rd September 1939 and 7th - 8th August 1945 a total of 387,416 sorties were flown, over 955,000 tons of bombs were dropped and 8953 aircraft were lost

This site is dedicated to the thousands of men from all nations who flew with bravery and dedication on operations with RAF Bomber Command during WWII, but especially to the 55,573 who made the ultimate sacrifice
